Cincinnati, OH October 1, 2024 – In recognition of exceptional community service, Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney has invited Laura Moese, President of the LULAC Ohio Educational Foundation (LOEF), to City Hall on October 1, 2024. This meeting aims to discuss Mrs. Moese’s upcoming Community Work Award, which will be presented by the Cincinnati City Council on October 9th at 1:30 PM.
Mrs. Moese is set to be honored for her outstanding contributions to the Hispanic community through her work with LOEF and LULAC Cincinnati. Under her leadership, LOEF has launched vital programs such as the Young Latino Professionals Network, focusing on mentorship, job resources, and scholarship opportunities. Her efforts have also extended to fostering connections with several local schools, where a significant number of Latino students benefit from educational support and cultural initiatives. These programs not only aid in their academic progress but also celebrate and integrate Hispanic cultural heritage within the broader Cincinnati community.
