Cincinnati, OH – We are delighted to announce that Laura Moese, President of the LULAC Ohio Educational Foundation (LOEF), will be awarded the Community Work recognition by the Cincinnati City Council on October 9, 2024. Mrs. Moese will be honored for her outstanding contributions to the Hispanic community through her work with LOEF and LULAC Cincinnati.
Under Mrs. Moese’s leadership, LOEF has launched several programs such as the Young Latino Professionals Network, which focuses on mentorship, job resources, and scholarship opportunities. Her efforts have also extended to fostering connections with several local schools, where a significant number of Latino students benefit from educational support and cultural initiatives. These programs not only aid in their academic progress but also celebrate and integrate Hispanic cultural heritage within the broader Cincinnati community.
We are very proud of this award and congratulate our fierce leader for her tenacity, her infatigable spirit, and her desire to help our community. Our community is very excited about this announcement, as expressed by this Lorena’s Hoy this post.
