Cincinnati, October 5, 2024 – Hartwell Elementary School marked its centennial celebration with a vibrant and diverse community event that brought together students, families, and local organizations. The celebration, held on October 5th, showcased the rich cultural mosaic of the school’s community.
A highlight of the event was the participation of LOEF President Laura Moese, who invited Florence Y’ALLs players to join the festivities. The baseball stars delighted students by gifting 50 signed balls, creating unforgettable memories for those in attendance. The event provided an excellent platform to spread the word about LOEF’s scholarships and services. The organization’s presence underscored its commitment to educational support and community engagement, particularly within the Hispanic community.
In recognition of LOEF’s impactful engagement, Mr. Lewis has invited Mrs. Moese to join the monthly meetings with students’ parents. This initiative aims to enhance support for Latino families and foster greater integration and educational success. The centennial celebration of Hartwell Elementary School not only commemorated a century of educational excellence but also highlighted the power of community collaboration in enriching the lives of students and their families.
