Young Readers is a program that instills the love of reading in children at an early age (kindergarten to the 1st grade) and teaches the parents the importance that reading has in the success of their children in school. This is an after school program. Currently we have two programs at AMIS and two at Rising Star Academy, thanks to Procter and Gamble’s sponsorship. There are many volunteer opportunities for tutoring and mentorship at both schools.
